Mortgage Advisor

Overview

Our client is an established and growing mortgage brokerage with its Head Office in Dublin. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and driven Mortgage Advisor to join their team.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dublin, with three days per week in the Dublin office and flexibility for remote working on remaining days. There may be occasional travel to Head Office as required.

The successful candidate will manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry stage through to sale agreed, including conducting credit assessments and ensuring full regulatory compliance. This role sits within a high-performing, fast-paced environment and requires a strong client focus and ability to manage a busy pipeline.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound services leads and enquiries through to sale agreed stage

  • Conduct detailed credit assessments and evaluate clients’ financial positions

  • Advise clients on suitable mortgage options based on their individual circumstances

  • Prepare, process, and manage mortgage applications with relevant lenders

  • Ensure accurate data entry across internal and external systems

  • Track and manage the new business pipeline to ensure efficient turnaround times

  • Liaise with clients and lenders throughout the mortgage process

  • Ensure all client files are fully compliant with regulatory and internal policies prior to submission

  • Provide full administrative support for new business and existing client reviews

  • Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate pipeline management

  • Handle day-to-day administrative queries and escalate matters where appropriate

  • Support business growth through proactive client engagement and service excellence

  • General office administration as required


Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • APA in Loans and Regulations (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and lending processes

  • Proven experience conducting credit assessments

  • Strong client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability

  • Professional, proactive approach to work

  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in a fast-paced financial services or brokerage environment


Desirable

  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements and compliance procedures

  • Previous experience within a busy financial services brokerage
